The de cision of the three judges, Robort Innes, Ivan McGillvray and Claude Vandevert, was in favor of the . affirmative. Those on the affirm ative side wore Margarot Wiost and Lawrence Smith, while on the nega tive were Emily Schroder and Fred Lucas. A second debate was hold last Friday afternoon. The question was: "Rosolved, that women should have the ballot." . Those debating were: Affirmative, Harry Spin ing and Clyde McGillvray; negative, Hellena Bozoll and Claude Kelly. The decision was in favor of the negative. Tho debate was procodod by a violin solo by Robert Innos. Singing has been instituted in tho High School in the time reserved for morning exorcise, Miss Borden acting as organist. The Senior Class has had iU first business meeting at which claw officers wore oloctod. Those chosen are: President, Emily Schroder; secretary and treasurer, Margaret Wiost. Great interest has been created among the B. H. S. boys in athletics. They have organized a football team and practice almost every evening.
