INTERESTING VISITOR Woman (Hobo Trotter Comes In to Look Over Central Oregon. One of the most interesting vlsi tors Bend has had recently is Mrs Ida Dinsmoor of I'ort Angeles, Wash., o woman who has traveled extensively. Mrs. Dinsmoor come in last week to look over Central Oregon for a number of homescek ers who are headed this way. The reports she will give them are very favorable indeed, the country hav ing impressed her as one of re markable possibilities. Since she was 14 years of age. Mrs. Dinsmoor has been traveling and her journeys have tnken hor into every state in the Union except Maine and through several foreign countries. What she considers one of the finest one-day trips she ever had was made last Thursday by auto through Crook, Klomnth and Like counties. Leaving here at G n. m. in n car drivon by L. I). Fox, Mrs. Dinsmoor, S. C. Turner of Astoria and J. J. Kinrod of Seattle, accompanied by E. II. Post, made n 22Tftnilu drive, getting back about midnight. The long journey was made without mishap of any kind. Mrs. Dinsmoor wos much sur prised when told of the modern im provements which Bond has and said thot this was certainly a pro gressive and enterprising town. She was also delighted with the scenery and spent considerable time mnklng sketches of river nnd mountains to send to friends in the East.
