Betid, Oregon,
Forgetting that there were such
things as honks to be studied and
lessons to bo recited, the IIIkIi
School students went on a picnic up
river Friday. The Misses Anne
Market nnd Ada Porter of the teach

The trip was made in four auto
mobiles, and the picnickers went
beyond Una Island. The day was
spent in fishing nnd playing various
Karnes. Some of the boys were very
successful as anglers. A bountiful
luncheon was taken along and when
noon came this was spread out
together nnd the young jwople had
an enjoyable least.
The year's work at the High
School is now drawing to a close,
nnd the students are being put
through final examinations. The
Senior class will finish its work first,
probably by the latter part of this
week, and then begin the prostra
tions for graduation day on May 1M
