At the teacher's examination?

took examinations for county cer
tificates, all passing, while three
took state examinations, results of
which will not be known until later.
An interesting cvideuce of Crook
County's advanced educational po
sition is shown by a compirisou
with Linn County's statistics; four
more teachers took examinations
in Crook than in the older and
more settled county.
The following teachers were
granted county certificates; there
were 10 in the first class, 14 seconds,
and 2 thirds.
