The latest important develop
ment In the unfolding or the great
plan of Orcuon railroad construe
tion whose initial step Is the Des.
chutes road to fiend, Is the an
nouDccment that the Hill interests
are behind the DoUc & Western en
tcrprise. This new road, It will be
remembered, has long been a mys
terious factor In the field, whose
ownership and destination hitherto
have remained hidden.
Now, however, comes the an
nounccment through Col. C H. S.
Wood, that the new Hue is Hill
property, will be "hitched up" with
the O T. I,., In all probability, and
enmiug the state south of fiend
will connect with Hill's newly pur
chased Oregon Ktectric road, and
thence find outlet to Portland as
well as to Coos Nay.
Mora Land fraud?

that ugrecments were entered into
between the company and entry

to be turned over to the company

the Inauguration of a rural free de

Dear Creek road, and back to Bend.
Mr. Waugh now has the petition at
his home and there hopes to secure
the requfsitc number of signatures

Rend Team Defeated.
I.nst Sunday afternoon Redmond
won the first ball name of 1010
Iroin the Ilend team .by the decisive
score of i$ to 5, hack of practice,
ragged playing, the absence of Mar

Redmond boys put up a classy ar

clean game, ud while admitting
the home team made n poor show
