When a merchant Is progressive enough to get out advertising mat ter that is new and unique and goes to the trouble to thoroughly cover the town with it, it ill becomes any- oae to go over the town as carefully as did the merchant and tear down the advertising matter. This is what was doue during the past week with A. M. Lara's "Third Ilousecleaning Sale" posters. It was a small and mean trick, nnd shows a small spirit. Whoever did it even went so far as to tear down the posters that were on Mr. Lara's own building. He is justly in censed nnd is offering a reward for information as to who did it. The culprit should be caught and pun ished. Notke. If you wish to have your ex press and light freight come in along with your letters and daily papers, have it come in on the mall line.
