II. Stoats, is visiting in Bend. Mrs. Hubbard is president of the Rebcknh lodge and is visiting all the lodges in the state. Kills of Bend, Com missioner Hayley of Laidlaw and Robert Rae of Madras last week made arrangements with the con struction crews at work uear Mad ras, for four railroad and county road crossings, near Madras. At some of the crossings, where the wagon road approaches the railroad where it runs along the hide of u grade, viaducts will be constructed leading under the track.
