A letter from Mexico City, re ceived by the Board of Trade, asks for a subscription to The Bulletin, the writer desiring to "post him self on the opportunities of your section of Oregon." No one is too far distant to be Interested in the Bend country, these days of devel opment. The big New Year's number of the Orcgonian will have much to say regarding Central Oregon. This was learned from G. P. Put nam who recently has received from that paper a letter explaining that the Orcgonian desired to de vote much space to the develop ment possibilities of this country, asking for suggestions as to suit able articles , from representative men, and announcing that at an early date a photographer would be sent up the Deschutes to obtain a a large supply of pictures for the big boom number.
