ON THE " " " II, A. Myers of Redmond was in Bend last Priday showing the hand some black Belgian stallion owned by Myers & Company. The horse, known on the French stud books as Pulssaint de I.iroux, is a very large animal and weighs 3300 pounds. Judges of horse flesh say he is one of the best horses ever shown in this country, and he cer tainly shows up in fine shape. Thoc who were privileged to listen to the open air concert given by the Bend Concert Band Sunday afternoon enjoyed quite a treat. The bjtid is making most, satisfac tory progress under the instruc tion of Prof. Throne, and Bend people arc insured the enjoyment of some very good music dtiriug the coming summer.
