Mondny night the local lodfjc of
the Modern Woodmen put six

that order, called the Hustling
Knlnhts of Woodcraft. The
Woodmen do oy that for side
splitting fun there is nothing like
it. Whenever you apeak to a

Woodmen Is growing steadily nud
adding new members rccularly.
While fruit at Hood P.tvcr, Lew
iston, Walla Walla and many other
places has been very seriously
damaged by frost, llcnd fruit has
almost entirely escaped injury. A
little damage was done on the
uighwofthc 38th, when the ther
mometer dropped to 1 1 above. L.:
D. Wicst reports that only about
two per cent of the strawberries
were damaged and five per cent of
the currants. Such a small loss
will hardly be noticed if 1.0 further
damage occurs. Mr. Wicst had
water flowing through a part of his
currant bushes and the.'c escaped
injury entirely, a fact that should
be noted ami remembcrci.
