Music In tho Mnml.
Humor has it. that the Oregon
Concert Hand has busted. And
that the crisis cumc last Sunday
at the rehearsal. This for some
ruHson has gained ground to .such
1111 extent that even the members
are amazed to learti its cause. At
the meeting Sunday one of the
members seriously objected to the
late addition to its membership,
being three of the young Indies of
Iknd, who were elected by 11
quorin at a previous meeting dur
ing his absence, The young
ladies are sufficiently udvauced
in the rudiments of music so
tlmt witli n little practice tlley, no
doubt, would have become a valu
able addition to thu baud. Whoti
this objection became known to the
new mcmhuis they gracefully re
tired, leaving the baud practically
in us good condition ns before.
Since the otigiu of this organiza
tion hint July, Hairy W. Broker,
as Instructor, has devoted much
time and trouhlc'to Its perfection,
and much is dtiu him for his un

Triplett has caught three foxes
two with one bait that are quite
different from anything ho ever
suw before. They were of large
siae and gray, with long fur of the
finest quality. Two of the foxes
were an iron gray, the other of red
dish gray. The fine, fluffy tails
are nearly six inches in diameter,
