timber land and put an end to tho
frauds which recently have grown In
to a national scandal. It was refer

of which tho author Is chairman.
If Sonator Hanabrough's mcaauro
becomes a law, all tho timber land on
the public domain will be withdrawn
from entry, nnd tho government will
enter upon tho policy of disponing of
Ita timber nt Its market value. One
provision In tho bill prohibits tho en
try of thoMo lands under tho homo-
