Mrs. H. L. Putnam has been stay­
ing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John Winters for a few days while
Mr. Putnam was up In Washington
on business.
Clyde Stokes. Mrs. Charles Car-

L. H. Cable put some potatoes on
exhibit at the Newberg land office

The Bunnycrest Ladles’ club met
with Mrs. L. H. Cable last Thursday
for their regular meeting. Besides
the regular business tbe club con­
sidered the invitation of the farm
bureau to their all day's meeting to
be held Saturday, December I. Ths
next meeting is to be with Mrs. A.
W. Hubbell.
At last the efforts of the neigh­
bors to charivari Delmer Hall met
with the proper degree of success to
be satisfactory to all concerned. It
seemed for awhile that Palmer was
to prove himself the most cunning
of them all. But the combined ef­
forts of all were too much for him.
