Mrs. Leora Baron of Win Jock. Wash., is spending some time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Hod son. Mr. Baron will join her in a few days, when they Will decide on a new location. The young people of the commun­ ity gathered at the home of Sidney Boot last Friday evening to remind htm of his birthday. The party numbered twenty-nine in all, who thoroughly enjoyed the fine supper and games and music which followed. Mr. and Mrs. Hoggard will give a concert at the school house next Monday evening. These people are Mind and are graduates of the school for the blind. They are well educated and prepared to entertain any audience. One-third of the pro­ ceeds will go to the school. J. R. Hess gave two good readings which were highly appreciated. After the meeting ad­ journed a social time was spent, while the committee sehred cake, sandwichee and coffee.
