C ha pin then arose and m ade a m otion th a t th e election of th e rest of th e officers be held over u n til 1923. but a lth o u g h th is m otion w as c a rrie d on th e s p u r of th e mo m e n t, it was la te r called up on the su g g e stio n of some of th e m em bers of fhe n o m in a tin g c o m m itte e a n d was voted down. A lively discussion was p r e c ip ita te d on th e subject but th e m o tion prevailed.
