Hood last Sunday. Five autos took the party from here, leaving Newberg Saturday morning and re turning home Monday morning. Camp was made at the government camp eight miles from the top on Saturday night and the climb was commenced on Sunday morning. Twenty-one of the party started on the climb, but only twelve of these reached the crater and half of this number failed to get to the top.
