they decided to come back by boat
from San Francisco, which they did.
Next Sunday is the anniversary
o f a great day In the nation’s his­
tory, the day the Eighteenth Amend­
ment to the Constitution of the
United States affecting nation-wide
prohibition was adopted. West Che-
halem is going to celebrate the day
by singing temperance songs and a
few temperance leadings will be giv­
en. ’Everybody Is extended a hearty
Invitation to come.
