Dear Sir— Replying to yours of October 7th. regarding the Improve ment of the road from Newberg to Yamhill as an extension of the Wood burn-Newberg road to connect with the three highways leading In that vielntty have tended not only to familiarise me with this thoroughfare, but have impressed me with Its importance. ____ As a proper mode of procedure I would suggest that this proposition J * . taken up with the County Court and Commissioners with a view to its designation as a road to he im proved under the market road AeL In this way the road w ill be brought to the attention o f the State Highway Commission and the Commission will give it careful con sideration. I sincerely hope that you may succeed in your endeavors to have this road improved aa it is a very Important artery of transportation and w ill prove a valuable adjunct to the highway system.
