good" we weren’t allowed to build,
fires or have lights on account of
their aviators and bomba, and It was
cold, damp weather for sleeping on
the ground.
After, the armistice
was signed we could have all the
fires we wanted just so they weren't
too big. and we sure took the chill
out of ourselves. Every way you
lokked was a fire wham someone
was enjoying the sensation of feel
ing warm. Then they started la
shooting rockets, red, green and
white.
Prom here ere followed the Hlnies
through Lorraine, and crossed Into
Germany at Vaaeerbelllag on De
cember I. Part of the time we trav
eled in the direction of Coblens and
part of the time In the opposite di
rection. Finally we got here. Kltel-
