Among their number was Mrs. Mary Douglas who has been an active and useful member for many years and who was about to bid them adieu as she was going east for a year or two. A s the regular routine was hastened, all were wondering ered promptly by an ihvitation from the G . A . R . members for all to report at the dining-hall adjoining, and on ariving there found the tables loaded with eats, and the G. A. R. members ready to serve a bountiful and delicious banquet for all especial ly as a farewell to Mrs. Douglas.
