and also members of the associa­
tion have never been inside of the
plant and it is the desire o f
the m anagem ent 'that a general
m ass meeting o f all the g ro w
ers be held on Saturday, M ay
second, in the cannery build­
ing, fo r the purpose o f inspecting
the plan t and hearing w h at pro­
gress has been m ade in financing
the business and in m arketing
the output. Several are still
back on the their subscriptions
and the full am out o f capital has
not yet been subscribed. It
hoped that a t this meeting the
balance of stock w ill be taken up
so the m anagem ent can start out
w ith a "clean slate” and free of
any debt.
The committee having the a r­
rangem ent o f this meeting in
hand w ill announce more defi­
nitely next week ju st w h at the
p rogram w ill be. Undoubtedly
there w ill be some good music
and possibly sandwiches and
coffee served.
This w ill be a meeting tor all
members and their wives, and
all prospective members.
