Tillie Ha*gard and family of six children have moved hen from Twin Valley, Minnesota. She is a sister o f the Amoth boys, Lewis Amoth and Mrs. Hasgard have bought the Joe Tinker farm. Mrs. Hans Miller, o f Corvallis, spent a few days visiting her sister, Mrs. Fendall, and her mother, Mrs. Christenson. Mrs_Bina Hash was a visitor a t the home o f Mr. and Mrs. Calkins last week. Bert Miller and wife, o f New- berg, were Sunday visitors at his ancles, B. G. Fendall. Dr. A. M. Davis visit the old home on Thursday. Mr. Coopers have moved across the valley on to another farm. Larence Boyd's hand is healing up nicely. Mrs. Bmma Hasgard has Im proved very much. The Queen Comedy Company, o f Chehalem Center, will play “ A Fam ily Affair” at the senool bouse April 17. Ella Macy spent the week end at the home o f Ben Yergen. Misses Steirley and Smith were visitors in Portland on Wednes day. Lom a Kinney visited with home folks over Sunday. Mr. Shields is suffering very much with asthma. Frank Nelson, road supervisor, has been doing some much needed road w ork in this community. J. U.
