Chicago.— Mrs. Irene Brunner, o f 2817 South Dearborn street, was ar rested In connection with the hold-up and robbery of the dry goods store of Mrs. Elisabeth Foley, 766 Bast Forty- seventh street. Saturday n ight Mrs. Brunner was identified by Mrs. Foley and Miss Mary Pollane, a clerk, as the woman who held a revolver In their faces and rifled the cash drawer of the store Saturday night, after buy ing a flve-cent handkerchief. Mrs. Brunner, who Is the drift of Joseph J. Brunner, owner of a garage at 1448 South Wabash avenue, was taken into custody at her husband’s garage three hours after the robbery had taken place. In tbe arrest of Mrs. Brunner, the police believe they have the woman who has perpetrated several daring holdups on the south side. Crack In Canal Alarms.
