It seems to me a deplorable fact that so m any women do not live up to the standard o f partner ship they profess. It they are partners a t all in the m atri monial business, it is the “ silent” kind. M y husband i s a harness- maker, and I am his only partner. •Every evening w e g o over the accounts in a systematic manner. I t is surprising how soon one grow s to enjoy this. N ow I had as soon assist in selecting his goods as shop in a fancy goods store. W h y ? Because w h a t ever interests him appeals to me, writes a Farm and Home sub scriber. ■ I t is a real inspiration to near ly every man to possess a live partner—one who takes an active interest i n whatever concerns him; to whom he can turn in times o f impending or actual dis tress; and whose influence helps him to put forw ard h i s best efforts.
