Your measure taken for the famous SOMETHING WORTH WHILE Prof. A. C. Stanbrough has ar ranged with an Eastern Lecture Bureau to secure an unusually attractive program for April 11. At this lecture demonstrations will be given with Radium, Liquid Air, and Wireless Tele graph. We read a great deal about these, but comparatively few have ever seen the wonderful metal that emanates light, heat, and energy with no apparent loss to itself, and seems able to continue doing so forever. When science learns how to control its radiations there will be unlimited possibilities for radium in medi cine and surgery. Interesting and instructive experiments with liquid air will be performed showing its oxidizing power and the effects o f the intense cold, its temperature being 312 degrees below zero. Besides illustrating the sending of messages, many other experiments with wireless, such as firing a cannon, starting a motor, etc., will be performed. People in town who have heard Prof. Patty in the East assure us that this will be one of the best entertainments ever offered in Newberg. Tickets on sale at Parlor Phar macy and Lynn B.
