Your attention is called to the
animal meeting o f the Minnesota
Social Society to be held on New
Year’s day at Duncan’s hall.
This will be the sixth annual
meeting o f the society and we
desire to make it the best one in
every w ay that we have ever
held. An interesting programme
is being prepared, ana, o f course,
there w ill be a good dinner.
Our President, Prof. W. W.
Wiley, who is now principal o f
the schools at Athena, Oregon,
to be with us.
iring the past year many
new families from Minnesota
have come to our community.
Let each one consider himself a
committee to invite all friends
and acquaintences from Minne
sota to our gathering.
Let
all who can do so, bring
something in their baskets to
add to the good things for the
picnic dinner which willbe served
at the noon hour. Ladies will
kindly bring table cloths, also
knives and forks. The table
committee would appreciate hav
ing the baskets brought as early
in the day as possible so as to
have the tables in readiness for
dinner by noon.
Last year we had a delightful
day, with something like 200
present. Let us plan and work
to make our coming gathering
even better.
