Atkins died on Che- halcm mountain, where he with his family were camping for the benefit o f his health, on Tuesday, August 24, aged 40 years and 8 months. Deceased came to Oregon in the spring of 1907 from New York, where he was born, and where his father, Christopher L. ‘ Atkins, and his brother, Win. H. Atkins live. He is also survived by a wife and three children, one son and tw o little daughters. His faneral was held from their home Wednesday, August 25. Interment in Ramsey Hill Ceme tery.
