FRIDAY AND SATURDAY we predict will be the greatest days business of the
sale. We are certain of this because we have made greater preparations in the
way of providing a gigantic feast of bargains in seasonable merchandise. Never
before have we been able to supply first-class merchandise for so little money as
now. You will not be just to your own welfare if you neglect to partake of at
least a few of the many thousands of bargains that await you Friday and Satur
day or as long as they last. Is it not easier to make money by saving than any other
way? Why should you pay high prices when you can save so much during this
great sale now? No matter what you may need in Shoes, Groceries, Furnishings,
Piece Goods, Tinware, etc., you will find it here Friday and Saturday for almost
half or less. In many instances merchants will do well to attend this sale and fill
in their stocks with first-class goods for less than they would have to pay at the
w holesale houses. We are willing to compare prices with those of any jobber or
manufacturer and will undersell them as we must get the money quickly without
considering the tremendous loss.
Never before in the history of business in Yamhill County was merchandise offered at the ridiculously low
prices which will be offered during the remainder o f this sale. Perhaps you have had saving opportunities
of importance but never before have yoii had a chance to save on hew seasonable merchandise as now. W e
do not seek preference but when we can save you from 3 0 to 6 0 per cent on dependable merchandise are
we not entitled to your trade? Other merchants cannot offer such inducements as these because they must
sell at a profit W e are selling at cost and less in a great many instances, as we must positively dispose of
every article in the store before June the 3rd at tremendous loss.
