Announcement
The Bank o f Newberg, a private leorporation, waa organized
and opened for bonneee in 1869 when Newberg waa but a mere
hamlet. By strict adherence to conservative business principles,
it has gained the confidence o f therpobhc, while it’ s growth has
kept pace with it’s section. In 1906 the capital stock was increased
to $60,000.
It has recently been converted into a National Bank, and in
the future the business will be conducted under the name o f the
United States National Bank o f Newberg.
The Bank is now under the supervision o f the National Gov­
ernment, and is conservatively managed by a Board o f Directors,
all o f whom have been well known presidents o f this vicinity for
tbeir liberal patronage, and we cordially invite the burin res o f
others, to whom we are prepared to extend every courtesy and
accommodation consistent with correct and progressive h^nlrtny
