Newberg Mfg. & Consruct’n Co Dear Teacher;—I wish to call your attention to the coming County School -Fair to be held at McMinnville this foil. The Fair last year was a great success, but we wish to make it this year even better than ever, and whether we succeed or not depends largely upon the teach ers. Ifyou are interested, it will be an easy matter to arouse the interest o f your pupils. The work that is being carried on m these industrial fairs is strictly iu line with the "New Education." At last we have reached the con clusion that boys and girls should learn how to do things. Cooking, sewing, manual train ing and gardening is as im portant as learning so much geography or arithmetic. "T o work with the hand as well as to think with the head" is the educational m otto o f today. I am sure that you will note; an added interest and pride in your school on the part of pupils and parents if you succeed in making a creditable exhibit. Do not w ait another day to begin tor it is im portant that this w ork be taken up at once in order to get the best results. Prize lists will be sent out later. It you have any questions to ask concering the Fair, please feel free to write to me. Yours sincerely, H. H. B elt . C .F M O O R E PHARMACIST Drugs, Chem icals, Fam ily M edicines, o f fiction.
