CROZER, o f the board, Jesse Edwards gave a short talk, outlining something o f the w ork being Id one on the Pacific Coast by educational in stitutions under the direction of the Friends church and giving in some detail what the colleges stand tor. C .J. Edwards, a member of the first class to graduate from the college, spoke for the alumni, now numbering nearly one hun dred, and gave the occupations that were being followed by the different members. In speaking o f the good w ork Pacific College has been doing for the students he had a very encouraging word for the future o f the institution. President Kelsey gave a very interesting account o f his* work done during the early part o f the year in soliciting for the endow ment, and while he stated that the work was cut oft when it was just well begun, by the sud den change in the financial situa tion, he found many warm friends o f the college w ho have given as sistance m the past and who in dicated a willingness to subscribe to the endowment fond a little later. He was kindly received at all the points he visited and he feels hopeful for good results as soon as business gets hock to normal conditions.
