The McMinnville College stu dents have established the cus tom of holding M ay Day festivi-. ties on the beautiful campus, and this year invited the stu dents of Pacific College to attend and join their athletes in a field meet in the afternoon. The in vitation was accepted and a holiday accordingly decreed by the P. C. faculty. The day was all that could be desired for such a happy occasion. In the morning the visitors at tended the beautiful coronation exercises under the royal oak on McMinnville campus and saw the pretty M ay pole drill, al! ac companied by sweet harmony by the college musicians. In the afternoon attention w as shifted, tem porarily, from pretty girls to the athletes. The meet w as so close as* to be highly in teresting.
