improvements to his store building on
west First street. Realizing that the
safety o f the crowds of people that so
often assemble In his hall Is paramount
to everything else, he is now adding
practical fire escapes to his already com
fortable and comuvolious assembly
room. H e has placed a ladder from one
window to the roof of the small building
that joins on the west and a broad easy
ladder from this roof to the ground. He
