    Women,
Remember
This
Influence.
W e cannot go through the world
without impressing others.
We cast
deep shadows or bright sunbeams into
tbeir lives, for influence is the law of
life from which there is no escape.
Influence is the dogma of life as pene
trating as the atmosphere, and your
consciousness of it has nothing to do
w ith the case.— Rev. Dr. Adam.

Bradstreet’s says: I t has been a
quiet week in distributive trade, except
at some few Western centen, this being
especially true of the dry-goods busi
ness. Wholesale trade in this line has
been generally completed, and, pend
ing the effect of the spring demand up
on the retail trade, the markets are in
a w aiting stage. As regards prices,
the feature of the week has been the
strength manifested in agricultural pro
ducts and provisions. The advances in
the latter, in fact, are regarded as fore
shadowing an upward movement in hog
products, long predicted, but only par
tia lly realized.
W in ter wheat crop advices have
been, on the whole, good, and have
acted as a balance to the stories of
French damage.
Wool has been more active, but con
siderable business has been done at

The demoralization in the sugar mar

They Say, “ We Think Peruna Is The Greatest Medicine On Earth.”
No man is better known in the State
of Nebraska than Mr. Carl T . Roberts,
contractor and mason. A typical A m er
ican— active, shrewd, and fu ll of busi
ness sagacity. H e is not only a pro
vider for his fam ily, but a protector.
In a recent letter to Dr. Hartman he
writes, among other things, as follows:
.“ Our hoy James, had the membran
ous croup, and repeated attacks of lung
fever. Our boy, Charlie, was also
subject to attacks of pnuemonia and
pleurisy. Our third boy, John, was
subject to fever and ague (m alarial)
and liver trouble.
Your
remedy,
Peruna, cured m y boys entirely, and
now I have three of the healthiest lioys
in the State o f Nebraska, which I a t
tribute to your medicine. M y wife
had a stomach trouble which Peruna
also cured. Altogether for m y whole
fam ily we have used nineteen bottles of
I’eruna, and have thus saved $500 in
doctors’ hills.
I am a contractor ami
mason by trade, ami am known all
over Nebraska. I have hail a stomach
trouble which has been greatly relieved
by your remedy, Peruna, for w hich I
am still taking it. W e think it is the
greatest m edicine on earth.” — C. T .
Roberts, Falls C ity, Nebraska.
Hon. W illia m Youngblood, Auditor
for
the Interior,
w rites from W ash
ington, D. C ., to
Dr. Hartman, Co
lumbus, Ohio, as
follows: “ I ’ ve o f

become, in a multitude of households,
absolutely indispensable.
Mr. T. G. W alker, Carneiro, Kansas,
w rites: “ I t is with pleasure that I re-
port that I am better than I have been
for many years. I believe Peruna is
without a doubt the best m edicine that
ever was used in a fam ily. I t has
cured my nervousness, w ith which I
had been afflicted for a great number
o f years.”
I t is a fact of ever increasing aston
ishment that so many otherwise sensi
ble and provident people w ill, for the
neglect of so simple a precaution as to
have a bottle ol Peruna at hand, bring
upon themselves the needless suffering
and foolish expense thut a practitioner
of m edicine is forced to witness every
day.
As soon as the vaine of Peruna is
fu lly appreciated by every household,
both as a preventitive and a cure of
these affections, tens of thousands of
lives w ill be saved, and hundreds of
thousands of chronic, lingering cases
of disease prevented. Peruna is tha
household safeguard.
