which will make all such filings
and proofs legal and will insure the
acceptance of the same by the gen
eral land office. None of these til
ings or proofs have yet been passed
upon or rejected by the general
land office and none will he reject
ed if the claimants will follow out
die instructions contained in the
subjoined letter from the Acting
Commissioner. In accordance with
this letter affidavits ready for sig
nature with full instructions will
he sent as soon as possible to each
claimant by me and all parties re
ceiving them will confer a favor
upon me as well as benefit them
selves by prom ptly attending to the
matter upon receiving the blanks.
l'he affidavits may be sworn to be
fore any person authorized to ad
minister oaths, such as a notary
public, county clerk, Judge of any
court or a U. S. Commissioner.
