B-59 team has had its share of
hard luck. It dropped a hard-

in the early stages. C. P. finally
cracked through defenses in the
last minutes to win 28 to 26.
Abbot Face!
The idea of fair play and clean
spori has obviously paid divi
dends, according to the statistics.
Civilian Personnel had been guil
ty of only 20 fouls in 12 games.
We don’t know, but perhaps that
is one reason that C.P. is leading
the pack as they approach the
finish line.

Sought for Post
A call for diamond talent in

Post baseball team during the

It is important that players,
especially pitchers, begin prac

Leo Frizzi, coach, pointed out.
Prospective team members are
urged to contact the Post Re

the all-important message—sol

of the better half. But something
happened, or rather nothing hap

the guy’s shoulder.
Finally, in desperation, Pvt.
Reissen, United States Army,
used the telephone.
