They will cut ditches, build reservoirs and houses and get everything in read iness for working the mines this winter. Corliss & Rush, whose rich strike we chronicledin last week’s Journal, have just bonded their claims the Double Eagle, from which the rich rock was taken out, and the Lucky Queen for $10,- 000 to a Mr. Brown, of Colorado. Jones, of the Gold Bug mine, near Glendale, says he is now em ploying 30 men in all and working night and day. They have about a year and a half’s work for their five-stamp mill now in sight and are doing a great deal of development work, having just com pleted surveying a new 1600 foot tunnel in the south eide of the mountain.
