Robert Taylor, of the Ashland—Klam ath road board, made a trip out to the working party this week and reports satis factory progress in the repair work. The Klamath end of the road ought to be opened this fall as surveyed last year. The commissioner’s court of Klamath county will not authorize any repair work on the old road this side of the river, and it would therefore seem ur gent on the commissioners to open up that part of the new road projected in their county. It is said that the desired improvement could be done for $600 and the road made immediately available for service. The Klamath people are as deeply interested iu this matter as are the residents of Jackson county, and they should exert seme pressure on the commissioners to secure some action.
