Uses Motion Pictures All of the communities along the lines of the S .uthern Pacific will be repiesented on the motion picture and lecture program being given free to the public at that company’s building in the Panama-Pacific In ternational Exposition. Competent speakers, each day, at intervals of about an hour apart, are explaining to visitors itom the East and Mid dle West, as well as Irom Coast points, what a land of wealth and opportunity is to be found west of the Rocky Mountains. The motion pictures have been taken mostly for this especial purpose and from their variety are of the livliest interest to both tourist and prospective settler No charge whatever is made lor admission. The Southern Pacific's object has been only to render a service by exploiting tbe advantages of the communities it traverses, be lieving that by encouraging yisitors to see the natural advantages of the West, it h is sufficiently served its own interest. Sunset Theater seats 350 persons The programs start every hour be ginning at 11 iu the morning and ending at 6 in the evening, when all exposition buildings are closed for the night illuminations. Besides the theater, the Southern Pacific building houses ticket and validation offices, capable of render ing any service on the exposition grounds that could be given by the largest down town city ticket office The visitor may safely have his mail sent to the information bureau to be there held until he calls for it. The bureau will also give him any data he may need both on the lair and on the cities near. — «4»* - The Trap Vocabulary To the green trap shooter, “ pull, dead” and “ pull, lost,” is the limit of his vocabulary. But to tbe old professional it is far different. He would likely describe the result ol six shots something iu the follow ing manner: I toed the firing line, put the iron to my shoulder, drew a humdinger from the box and killed it. The second saucer was a lazy boy, but I su-ut lo sleep aud the pigeon nested iu tl;< grass.
