It was Myrtle Point's dale hut some of their men being disabled made it impossible lor them to fill it and there followed the arrangements with Matsbfield The Marshfield boys thought that their defeat was due partially at least to the size of the Coquille floor and there was certainly some thing the matter because the boys played good and at times brilliant hall but seemed unable to make the baskets. The Coquille boys showed up better than in any other game this season and the entire game was a wonderful exhibition of team work as well as individual playing Again and again they made the basket on a signal without a single extra pass Miller as guard was certainly there and covered his man completely. Leslie, center, played a wonderful game and shot baskets with a sure ness that was startling. Kern and Oerding, playing forwards, made it a safe bet that the ball in their hands meant a basket while Watson played a good game. Many were the remarks from the crowd upon the sporting spirit of the Marshfield boys, and they established a reputation for them selves as good losers and clean, straight-forward players. Coquille goes to North Bend Fri day for what they consider the most difficult game of the season. North Bend has defeated all the teams in the county except Coquille, and Coquille ha? defeated all but North Bend. Their meeting is bound to result in an interesting encounter. We wish to express our faith and hope in the Coquille boys, however. City Council R O YAL Baking Powder Saves Health and Saves Money and Makes Better Food Crops o f Greece.
