3>T O T I C E R J D ean P a s s e s A w a y . R J. Dean, whom we mentioned as having been thrown from a horse and seriously hurt in our last issue, passed away at one o’clock T h u rs day morning from internal injuries. The facts were, intbe main as stated more than the latter complication had not been noticed. From aclose examination of the grounds wnere the acoident happened it was found the horse stumbled in a large chuck- hole filled with dust, which is ju st opposite the telephone pole against which it is evident both horse and rider went with great force. The deceased was a son of the late Murphy Dean who several yeaas ago purchased the Moomaw dairy farm near Norway, on which Mr. Dean has lived for about five years. He leaves a wife and two small children beside a brother and two sisters to mourn his sad aud untim ely death. The body was brought back from the Bay on Friday m orning and in term ent took place that day in the Norway cemetery. ---------------■-H»«-«----------- P ro sp e r N ew s.
