Last Monday morning Sept. 26 fbur new pupils were added making a total of thirtv nine now enrolled. Last year the enrollment was twen ty eight making this year High School an increase of eleven pupils. The new schoolars were Ray Miller, Mabel Crouch, and two pupils of last years term Matt Ker rigan aud Irvin Custer. On Thursday morning Sept. 22nd the pupils of the High School each gave $.25 for the purpose of sub scribing for a magazine or magazin es which will be helpful in school work- They also made a request that all the Magazines that they could find should be brought for the use o f the school. They also wauted any body in town who had magazines that they did not use to let the members of the “ Committee on Magazines” know and they would send and get them the Committee are Eva Sugg, Alta Stanley, Will Barrow and Maomi Knowlton. The teachers and pupils are be ginning the High School this year with an enthusiasm never before shown and the result will be a great success for this school year. The Wright home was giv en over to the young people, and as the hostess left nothing undone that would in any manner contribute to the pleasure and comfort of her guests, the evening was one continu al round of amusement.
