Just how far arrangements for ex tension of the road have progressed is not generally known, hut it is certain that several eastern capital ists were here yesterday, one of them representing a big Chicago contracting firm, conferring with those who are inture«ted locally. The easterners are said to include the vice president of the Pullman Car Company, the president of the St. Louis system, and other heavy financiers.
