Resolutions of Condolence and lodge advertising five cents per line. Our local railroad established a schedule of two round trips daily between Marshfield and Myrtle Point the first of this month. The afternoon train ia purely a through passenger, making good time and as few stops as possible. On Sat urday when ahe pulled in with all trainmen in full uniform, it gaye the appearance of a real railroad service all of which our people duly appreciate. In connection with the fast steamer Coquille from Bandon, persona from that place may trans act business at Marshfield and North Bend and return the same day. This is a privilege which should not be thought too lightly of by our people who so well re member how this trip had to be made in pioneer days. With the proper encouragement the man agement will continue the tw ice- a*day service as long as the p at ronage will warrant.
