Carnival was presented at the Ma
sonic Hall under the auspices of
the federated clubs and able and ef
ficient direction of Carrol Johnson
an expert in that line. Good audi
ences greeted the entertainers, par
ticularly the first eveoing, and the
snug sum of $108 was realized
after all expenses were met, which
will be nddad to the fund for the
rending room and gymnazium which
will occupy the property near the
South Methodist church lately pur
chased for that purpose. W e give
below the branches of business rep
resented and the names of tbe ladies
who repaesented them, who were
dressed in beautiful, neat and unique
costume» made up so as best to
indicate tbe nature of the business
