took place Yesterday. T >e officiat­

groom. At the oonclution of the
ceremony Mr. and Mra. Meeker
made quite a trip to the metropolis.
The groom is the eldest son of the
Rev. Qco. T. Meeker. The charm­
ing bride is one of the bells of the
county, and daughter of Rev. J. L.
Futrell, the pioneer optician. For
the past term she has been en­
gaged teaching at Plates school

servedly popular in the community.
