Moomaw’s G o ’». - Salem, Mich., July 20.— From 30 to 40 persons were killed and about 100 injured this morning when a Pare Marquette excursion train of 11 coaches, from Ionia, carrying the employes of the company’s shops there on their annual excursion to Detroit, collided with a west-bound freight train two miles east o f this village, at Washburn Crossing. At 1:30 P. M., 29 bodies had been taken froir the wreck, and many more were known to be still in the ruins.
