The senate boys agreed to play with ten on each team and the game was called at 8 p. m. after much bumping, clawing, and punching the first half came to an end with the score 5 to 5. The Senate boys went into the second half with added vim, at the end of which the score stood 5 to 15 in favor of the senate. This is the second time this year that the Senate boys have won the laurels of honor in football. School closed for the holiday sea son Friday Dec. 21, and many of the students have gone home to spend the vacation. About half of the faculty are spending the vacation at New Port by the sea. It is to be hoped that they will return refreshed, having left all their gloom and sadness behind. The Coos County students wish to extend Christmas and New Year greetings to their friends and rela tives.
