Last evening brought to close an interesting week for the Masonic lodge in Eugene. For six days a continuous conclave ban been held by Eugene Commandery No 2, dur ing which a number of Masons from Marshfield, Myrtle Point aud Jack sonville have taken the final degrees in York rite. Last night, as a fitting culmina tion an elaborate banquet was spread in the Masonic banquet room where local members and many visi tors from adjoining cities motion the level, squared themselves fora feast and ate until they were “ plumb full. That the banquet was prepared with care and savored of the good things of life it is only necessary to state that the committee having the matter in charge were headed by Wm. Prestors.
