McAdams was born in the state of Illinois, April 23, 1823, and died at bis home near Ooquille City, Oregon, February 20th, 1906, aged 82 years, 9 months and 23 days. Mr. McAdams cams from Illinois to California, crossing the plains with ox teams in the year 1849. He was married to Catherine A. Biokmore in 1866. To this union was born thirteen children, ten of whom are living, seven sons and three daughters. They remsioed in California until 1875, theu moved to Oregon and resided here until death oatne and took him into the world beyond. He leaves a wife and ten children. May the dear Le sse n s.
